Physical Intervention Training for Preventing and Managing Violence and Aggression in the UK.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
To enable staff to enhance knowledge and skills in resolving conflict and confidence in managing and preventing Violence and Aggression through using safe Physical Interventions which include relevant legislation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All Clinical staff who have already attended the two day Managing Violence and Aggression and resolving conflict. training course.
Those attending would normally work as Clinical staff on Units/Wards who need the skills to be able to safely restraint and hold patients using Physical Interventions.
The training is in house or if the need demands, venues can be sought in London and the surrounding areas.
DURATION - 3 days - Staff who attend this training would already have completed the 2 day Managing Violence and Aggression, resolving conflict training course. Alternatively we can run the two courses together to made it a 5 day course.
