Anger Management

Assessment of potential clients
45-minute assessment to assess suitability for group or individual sessions. Suitability will depend on motivation and underlying issues which may need to be addressed prior to or in place of anger management, e.g. significant mental health problems, learning disability, unresolved abuse issues.
Individual Anger Management
Six individual sessions, exploring elements of anger, personal triggers, additional stresses and relaxation techniques. The potential for further sessions if necessary.

Group Anger Management
Six group sessions, exploring similar elements to individual sessions with the advantage of group participation and the sharing of experiences.

All sessions to be facilitated by a registered mental health nurse affiliated to the British association of counsellors and psychotherapists.

All sessions are 45 minutes long with clients expected to complete ‘homework’.

Any client can repeat the course or return for individual sessions if deemed appropriate.

Clients assessed to be inappropriate for anger management will be referred back to their GP with guidance as to the appropriate service for ongoing referral.

Our facilitators are willing to travel to London or surrounding areas
